Support & troubleshooting

RiftGuessr is still in public beta. These are the quickest fixes for the most likely problems.

Game data does not loadReload once, then try a private/incognito window. Data Dragon and external media must be reachable.

Login does not workCheck the email/username and password. Cloudflare Turnstile must also complete successfully.

Forgot your password?Open Sign in → Forgot password and use the recovery email flow.

Stale page after an updateHard-refresh the site or clear the browser cache for riftguessr.com.

Audio does not playTry another browser or disable strict third-party blocking temporarily. Some clips are loaded from external community sources.

Challenge link issueMake sure the complete URL including the challenge parameter was copied.

Beta feedback

A public support inbox is not published yet. For now, the site focuses on self-service account recovery and the troubleshooting steps above. Do not send passwords, API keys, recovery tokens or other secrets to anyone claiming to provide RiftGuessr support.

Before reporting a bug later

Useful details are: browser/device, approximate time, game mode, what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot that does not contain private account data.
